First Fridays are always interesting! On the first Friday of each month the art galleries in downtown Phoenix all open for 5 hours (6-11pm) to the general public. It’s definitely an interesting thing. Most of the art is ‘modern’ art and is definitely ‘different’. I’m not such a big fan of most of the art, but it is a great time for me to be able to have some fun with my camera.
A few friends and I went downtown and had a good time hanging out. We did run into a slight problem though. We didn’t realize that the free shuttle had it’s last run at 11pm and we ended up getting stuck about 20 city blocks from where our cars were at 11:30pm. So, we started walking. We made it all safely to our cars and will definitely keep track of time next time we take the shuttle anywhere.
