I had a great time attending a ball game this weekend. The Diamondbacks were playing the Rockies, so my friend and I really didn’t care too much about the game.
But of course I had my camera with me to snap a few photos.
During the game I noticed that a high-school aged kid was looking through a bird book and also had a pair of binoculars. Then I noticed that he was trying to spot all the different kinds of birds that were flying around inside the stadium. He did this the entire game.
Why come to a game? Isn’t outside a much better place to spot birds?
Well, I had to take a picture of him reviewing his bird guide.
So, here’s to the birds that live in ballparks. They get to enjoy more games than I do.
